While using the same tactics as the most successful Realtors in the business, I add a few additional methods to selling a property. Land should be sold from the air. So I bring in the drone. For people who don't feel like reading, I make videos. And for those who are searching online, I write up descriptions that make people laugh. People are so easily frustrated and irritable these days. I aim to give them some relief from all the seriousness. People need a laugh. But, don't get me wrong. I'm no push over. In my 13 years of working in finance I was a lead negotiator, negotiating over 13,000 settlements. This translated to Real Estate perfectly and has served my clients well.

My wife and I moved to Berkeley county in 2017 after leaving John's Island. The traffic was just getting too ridiculous. Berkeley county felt like John's Island used to be. I'm a country boy. I belong in the country. I sold homes here many times and I knew the area well. Having fished the lakes for years I loved showing Lake Moultrie homes. One day my wife and I were showing a lake property to a client and that's when it started. My buyer didn't like the home. But, we did! It looked like crap. It took some convincing to get my bride on board. But, a dock on the lake had me in love. Close to Moncks Corner, it was perfect. I had to rebuild my Real Estate business in Berkeley County. I eventually joined The Real Estate Firm in Moncks Corner. This is where I learned a new approach to Real Estate. I won't give you our secrets :) 😁
But, I'm now a Listing agent. Something that came VERY easy to me since my wife and I made a living owning and operating several online sales businesses. Pictures, descriptions, and timing was always our strategy that worked in Real Estate too. Why? Because it's not just the product you are selling. It is to WHOM you are selling. And that is always going to be "People". Stop them in their tracks with a photo, and get them to read with the opening line. Stop them from scrolling. If I can get 3 seconds from them, I Got em! It's why my properties often have the highest views and saves on Zillow and other sites.
